With current water restrictions affecting almost every homeowner in Central Florida, ABC has developed a moisture management program offering services to address this issue. ABC uses Hydretain, the best root zone moisture control product on the market. Hydretain is a blend of hygroscopic and humectants compounds which attract and hold moisture, like tiny “water magnets” within soil. Hydretain manages available moisture within the soil, extending watering intervals of indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, vegetables, shrubs, trees and grass by as much as 2 to 3 times. Each application reduces watering for up to 3 months. Hydretain may be used for additional moisture management, spot treatment of isolated dry patches or additional protection during prolonged hot and dry conditions.

When ABC applies Hydretain to your lawn or plants, ABC will add sufficient water to drive the product into the thatch where the product does most good. If the Customer would like to add water after the application to further drive the product into the ground they may do so but it is not detrimental if they do not. If the customer applies Hydretain themselves through a hose end sprayer, the soil should be wet to moist (but not saturated) before applying. Water thoroughly the night before or a few hours before applying, then again after the treatment. ABC recommends a quarterly service schedule for best results. (4 times per year).
