Pest Control

How often should I have pest control service?

For most Florida homes, we recommend quarterly (every 3 months) pest control service. This maintains a protective barrier around your home and addresses seasonal pest pressures. Some situations may require more frequent treatment.

Is pest control safe for my family and pets?

Yes, we use EPA-registered products that are safe for your family and pets when applied as directed. We recommend keeping people and pets away from treated areas until dry, typically 30 minutes to an hour. We also offer eco-friendly treatment options.

What pests do you treat?

We treat all common Florida pests including ants (fire ants, carpenter ants, ghost ants), roaches, spiders, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, wasps, bees, rodents (mice and rats), and more. We also provide termite treatment and lawn pest control.

Do I need to prepare my home before treatment?

For most routine treatments, no preparation is needed. For specific treatments like bed bugs or certain interior applications, we will provide detailed preparation instructions before your appointment.

Termites

How do I know if I have termites?

Common signs of termites include: mud tubes on foundation walls, discarded wings near windows or doors, hollow-sounding wood, bubbling or cracked paint, and frass (termite droppings that look like sawdust). Spring swarms of winged insects are also a telltale sign. If you notice any of these, call us for a free inspection.

Do I need to tent my house for termite treatment?

Not necessarily. While tenting (fumigation) is sometimes required for severe drywood termite infestations, we offer effective no-tent treatment options including localized treatments and liquid termiticides. We will recommend the best approach based on your specific situation.

How long does termite treatment last?

Our termite treatments typically provide protection for 5-10 years or more, depending on the product and method used. We also offer lifetime warranty options that include annual inspections and retreatment if termites return.

What is a WDO inspection?

A WDO (Wood-Destroying Organism) inspection is a thorough examination of your property for termites, wood-boring beetles, and fungal damage. This inspection is typically required for real estate transactions in Florida. We provide official WDO reports.

Lawn Services

What lawn pests do you treat?

We treat common Florida lawn pests including chinch bugs, sod webworms, mole crickets, grubs, fire ants, and armyworms. We also provide weed control, fertilization, and ornamental plant care.

How often should lawn pest treatment be done?

Lawn pest treatment frequency depends on the issue. Preventive treatments are typically applied quarterly, while active infestations may require more frequent visits. Weed control is usually done 4-6 times per year for best results.
